Evening sports festival "Friday-Field" in Frankenberg on 10.09.21

Our athletes Lillien Rauchhaus (U12), Carlotta Würz (U12) and Linette Rauchhaus (U14) from TV Herbornseelbach were there.

On Friday, September 10th, 2021, TSV Hessen Frankenberg invited people to the evening sports festival "Friday Field". 73 children from 9 clubs enjoyed a great competition and braved the rain that started to fall. The disciplines of long jump and high jump were offered for the U12s, and the U14s were expanded to include discus throwing.

Our athletes Lillien Rauchhaus (U12), Carlotta Würz (U12) and Linette Rauchhaus (U14) from TV Herbornseelbach were there. All of them took part in the competition successfully and with fun.

The winner of the long jump in the U12 category was Carlotta Würz with a new personal best of 3.75 meters. She also managed to climb to the top step of the lovingly constructed winners' podium of TSV Hessen Frankenberg in the high jump with a performance of 1.22 meters.

In the W11, Lillien Rauchhaus took second place in the high jump with 1.10 meters. In the long jump, Filiz Nolte from TSV Hessen Frankenberg was unbeatable that day with 4.23 meters. Lillien achieved fourth place with a distance of 3.27.

Her sister Linette Rauchhaus took third place in the W12 with 1.10 meters in the high jump. In the long jump she achieved fifth place with 3.67 meters. A great result, as it was her first competition where she had to hit the "board" and was not allowed to jump out of the zone.

Sports badge awards for the athletes of the gymnastics club

Despite Corona, the athletes of TV Herbornseelbach were able to train under Corona conditions and complete their sports badge.

Instead of the usual annual general meeting, the awards ceremony took place after training in the Herborn-Seelbach gymnasium. Last year, it was possible to train very well in small groups in the Herborn stadium, in compliance with hygiene regulations. Since unfortunately few or no competitions had taken place, the athletes were happy to receive their sports badge awards.

The German Sports Badge in Gold was awarded to:

Hannah Kristin Gerlach, Jonah Stahl, Carlotta Würz, Milla Henrich, Lillien Rauchhaus, Carlotta Zintl, Philie Nießmann, Antonia Würz, Marlene Stahl, Linette Rauchhaus, Juliana Henrich, Melina Philipp and Noel Walter. Viktoria Würz won silver and Leandro Würtz won the bronze sports badge.

Three adults also achieved the standard for the sports badge. Sarina Würz received gold, Franziska Gerlach and Theo Benner received bronze.

Monika Benner's coaching team is proud of its athletes. They are already training hard for the 2021 sports badge and the upcoming competitions.

All athletes tested negative.

Three and four-way competition at the LSG Goldener Grund Selters/Ts. on 03.07.2021

The two athletes Lillien Rauchhaus and Carlotta Würz from TV Herbornseelbach were there. Both took part in the four-event competition successfully and with fun.

Organized by 32 helpers, 190 children from 28 clubs were able to take part in and show off their skills in the three-event disciplines, consisting of sprint, long jump and ball throw, as well as the four-event discipline, supplemented by high jump. The winner of the W10 four-event with 1522 points was Carlotta Würz, ahead of second-placed Noemi Staffa from TV Bermbach. Carlotta Würz completed a very good competition with a new personal best in the high jump of 1.30 m. In the ball throw she threw a decent distance of 30 meters and thus had the best result of the competition here too. The long jump was rather average, she jumped a distance of 3.47 m. Carlotta also came out on top in the 50-meter sprint with a time of 8.14 seconds. With a gap of 293 points to the second-placed competitor, Carlotta could be more than satisfied with her performance. With these results, Carlotta also secured victory in the W10 three-event with 1141 points. The starting field comprised 21 athletes. Lillien Rauchhaus secured 5th place in the W11 four-event competition with 1132 points and 11th place in the three-event competition with 914 points. She performed well with 8.99 seconds in the 50-meter sprint, 3.14 meters in the long jump, 21.50 meters in the ball throw and 1.06 meters in the high jump. This meant new personal bests for Lillien in the high jump and sprint.
Left: Carlotta Würz - Right: Lillien Rauchhaus A week earlier, on Sunday June 27th, 2021, Carlotta Würz successfully took part in the Bavarian Lower Main District Championship in Alzenau. Here she started out of competition due to her affiliation with TV Herbornseelbach, but performed very well with 34 meters in the ball throw, 8.05 seconds in the 50 meter sprint, 3.64 in the long jump and 1.18 meters in the high jump and gained important competition experience.

First victories and podium places at the ASV Cologne distance competition on 01.05.2021

There has been a standstill in athletics since October. No training and certainly no competitions. It's a difficult time for the children. The athletes are completely on their own when it comes to training.

It is all the more gratifying that some athletes from TV Herbornseelbach have taken on the challenge of taking part in the ASV Cologne distance competition. Even though the clubs from NRW have been offering their athletes training in small groups again since March, our athletes faced the competition. Since the stadiums in the local region are all still closed, the athletes looked for alternatives, for example the sports field in Greifenstein, which many know from the mountain gymnastics festival. Adverse conditions, but the main thing was the opportunity to get a taste of competition again. Here, people sprinted, threw and jumped. Anyone who knows the actual sports festival, which always takes place on May 1st in Cologne, knows that top athletes meet here for the first competition of the outdoor season and that the age group is very well represented.
Their results show that the athletes of TV Herbornseelbach have not forgotten everything during the long Corona break. W12: Philie Nießmann: Sprint - 24th place, long jump - 16th place, ball throw - 6th place Marlene Stahl: Sprint - 32nd place, ball throw - 16th place Linette Rauchhaus: ball throw - 8th place Antonia Würz: Sprint - 31st place, ball throw - 2nd place W13: Juliana Henrich: Sprint - 29th place, long jump beam - 1st place, shot put - 3rd place, ball throw - 14th place Melina Sophie Philipp: Sprint - 7th place, long jump zone - 5th place, high jump - 2nd place, shot put - 2nd place, ball throw - 1st place Even though it was ONLY a distance competition and will not appear on any list of the best, it was a small step towards normality for the athletes of TV Herbornseelbach. They were grateful to find a way back into their sport and would like to thank ASV Cologne for the great idea. Now everyone is hoping that training can be resumed soon and that perhaps one or two more competitions will follow this year.

TVL/LAG student multi-event day in Siegen, 03.10.2020

Although the weather forecast did not promise good, Hannah Kristin Gerlach and Philie Nießmann travelled to Siegen for a three-way competition.

Hannah jumped 2.79 meters in her first jump, but unfortunately was unable to improve in the next two rounds. After a slight delay, she started the ball throw and threw 16.5 meters in her best attempt. Then there was a long wait: Hannah waited at the locker, Philie in her first discipline, the ball throw. It was getting cold and the situation was getting on her nerves. Hannah finally sprinted the 50m in 9.66 seconds in light drizzle and thus achieved first place overall in the U10 age group. Due to many registrations from younger athletes who would originally have started out of competition with the older girls, the organizers had quickly created another competition for the younger ones. When it finally started for Philie and two competitions with a total of 30 participants were held within one group, nerves were already frayed. In her best attempt, she threw 24.5 meters. Now the predicted persistent rain started and the 30 girls waited again, this time for their sprint clearance. In the last run of the competition, Philie reached the finish line in 8.16 seconds. Completely soaked, she then went on to the long jump. Here she jumped 3.42 meters and finished the competition in second place overall.

Athletics sports festival at Haarwasen, 30.09.2020

In her second athletics competition, Philie Nießmann was the only TV Herbornseelbach competitor to hold up the club flags on the Haigerer Haarwasen. Under grey skies but with mild temperatures, she jumped 3.78m, threw the 80g ball 29m and sprinted the 50m in 7.9 seconds. With this result, Philie took second place in the triathlon. The sun even came out again after the race was over.

Siegburg Puma meeting on 26.9.20

Autumn is coming and Carlotta Würz felt it clearly. Cold temperatures and constant rain were forecast for the Puma meeting in Siegburg. Nevertheless, Carlotta had a very good competition. With 20 starters, the W9 field was full and Carlotta had very strong competition, but she had a very good competition. With 8.31 seconds in the sprint, she did not live up to her potential, but in the cold and wet weather, not much more was possible today. In the long jump, she improved her personal best to 3.72 meters and in the ball throw she threw a very good 23.50 meters. In the end, she won well ahead of her competitors from Rhineland-Palatinate and North Rhine-Westphalia. We warmly congratulate her on her three-way victory at the Puma meeting.

She took 7th place with 1257 points. Philie Nießmann made a great start to athletics, taking 6th place in the W11 triathlon at her first competition with a very good 1110 points. Antonia Würz came in right behind her. She also had a very good competition with 1034 points. In the discus, however, Linette was ahead of Antonia. With 13.78 meters, Linette took 4th place. Antonia threw just 4 cm less and took 5th place with 13.74 meters. In the shot put, Antonia Würz made it onto the podium with 5.62 meters. She took 3rd place ahead of her clubmate Linette Rauchhaus, who came just behind her in 4th place with 4.20 meters. Corona three-way battle in Großostheim on 01.08.20

The athletes of TV Hbs visiting Bavaria.

One personal best follows the next at the Corona all-around competition in Großostheim. Our athletes take advantage of the summer temperatures and show outstanding performances. Carlotta Würz - starts an age group higher in the W10 and sets 3 new personal bests. With 8.1 seconds in the sprint and 26.50 meters in the shot put, she goes to the top of the German best list. In the long jump, with 3.68, she is only 1 cm short of first place in the rankings. With a total of very strong 1109 points, she also leads the German rankings in the triathlon. Lillien Rauchhaus W10 has a very good competition for her and finishes in 7th place. Linette Rauchhaus W11 just misses the 30 meters in the shot put, but with 29.10 meters she still sets a personal best for her and ends up in 7th place. Antonia Würz W11 has finally arrived in athletics. She improved in the sprint and long jump. The handball player also achieved a personal best in the softball with a fantastic 33.50 meters. This puts her in fourth place in the current German rankings. In the end she finished with 1092 points and fourth place. Melina Sophie Philipp W12 set two new personal bests today. In the sprint she improved her 75m time by a strong 3 tenths to 11.2 seconds and in the ball throw she improved her performance from last year by a sensational 8.5 meters. 43.5 meters in the 200g ball throw means here too the German top! We congratulate our athletes on their outstanding performances!

Throwing day in Selters on 18.7.20

Melina Sophie Philipp also shows that she is a force to be reckoned with in the new disciplines that are on the agenda for the U14s and above. Shot put and discus were on the program today at the throwing day in Selters. Melina has already shown very good performances in the shot put in training, but so far she has not been able to translate this into competition. This was also the case today in the shot put. Although she improved her performance from Dortmund to 6.55 meters, she was still far below her potential. Nevertheless, she secured second place. Things looked much better in the discus throw. Here she showed a consistent series and secured victory at the end with 21.46 meters. At the same time, her performance has put her up to the top of the German rankings. A sensational start to the season! Congratulations!

Sports festival in Haiger on 29.7.20

Melina Sophie Philipp achieved a personal best in the high jump today. With a jump of 1.37 meters, she secured victory in the W12. In the shot put, she came second today.

School sports festival in Witten on 29.9.19

Even pouring rain did not stop our two newcomers from TV Wetzlar, Linette and Lillien Rauchhaus, from competing in Witten, Westphalia.

Despite the miserable conditions, Lillien W9 was able to improve her 50 meter sprint time from 9.9 seconds to 9.65 seconds. In the ball throw, she was 14 meters below her potential. With 2.90 in the long jump and 720 points, she took 14th place in the triathlon against strong competition. Linette started in the W10. With a good 8.94 seconds in the sprint and 28.50 meters in the ball throw, she laid the foundation for her success. She would have done better today if the long jump had not been a disaster with 2.93 meters. In the end, she was still happy with an excellent second place. Tired and with heavy legs, Melina Sophie Philipp W11 started. With a miserable sprint time of 8.42 seconds, solid 1.32 meters in the high jump and 4.10 meters in the long jump, she went to the ball throw frustrated. Here she then set a personal best of 46.50 meters. In the end, she clearly wins the four-way competition in Witten, Westphalia, with 1736 points.

We set off for the district championships in Fleisbach in rain and low temperatures. Melina Sophie Philipp was the only competitor in the U12 and thus in the district championship rankings. We always enjoy coming to the neighboring gymnastics association and to the mountain gymnastics festival on the Dreimärker.

Beaming faces for our starters at the mountain gymnastics festival and a triple success for TV Herbornseelbach. Carlotta Zintl, Hannah Kristin Gerlach and Melina Sophie Philipp won in their age groups. Fifth place for the four-year-old Constanze Zintl made the great team result perfect. The highlight of the day was the TV Herbornseelbach relay. The oldest was Melina Sophie at 11 years old and so the girls had to start in the W11-13 over 4x75 meters. With little Constanze, a win was impossible, but the girls showed fighting spirit and it quickly became clear: the TV Herbornseelbach relay was the winner of hearts.

Unfortunately, we only had one competitor from TV Herbornseelbach at the Lahn-Dill Individual Championships.

Melina Sophie Philipp had set herself high goals, but unfortunately she injured herself during the warm-up. In the long jump she had to abandon the competition after the second jump. However, 4.22 meters was enough for second place. With 43 meters in the ball throw she came in second again. Her injury made itself felt again in the high jump and she finished the competition with 1.30 meters and second place. Unfortunately, she was unable to compete in the 50m and 800m today.

District Individual Championships in Haiger on 08.06.19

Great successes for the kids of TV Herbornseelbach at the district individual championships in Haiger.

Noel Walter showed in his first competition that he is a force to be reckoned with in the future. In the long jump, ball throw and sprint he finished in the top 7. In the 800 meter run he showed his class and ran to third place in a sensational 2.53 minutes. Juliana Henrich did not live up to her potential in the poor conditions. Only in the high jump did she manage to fight her way to 5th place with 1.08m. Milla Henrich started in a higher class. She could have done much better too. Nevertheless she sprinted to 5th place, in the long jump she came 4th with 3.43m and in the 800m run she made it onto the podium. She ran to 3rd place in 3:20 minutes. Despite the poor conditions Melina Sophie Philipp improved her personal best three times. In the high jump she increased her height to 1.29m and took second place. An incredible 45.50m in the ball throw was only enough for second place. In the sprint she stayed under 8 seconds for the first time. She won the district championship title in 7.70 seconds. In the long jump she came second with 4.03m. She took her second title in the 800m.
