Successes at the summer sports festival in Villmar for Seelbach athletes
At the 38th Summer Sports Festival in Villmar an der Lahn,
Hannah Kristin Gerlach and Katharina Elm.
Discus and javelin throwing, shot put, 200-gram ball throwing and long jump had to be completed and the TVH athletics talents once again achieved personal bests.
Hannah Kristin Gerlach started in the W12 age group. In the javelin throw, she achieved a personal best of 23.96 meters, which put her in second place. This moved her up to fourth place in the Hessian annual best list. In the ball throw, Gerlach won the competition in her age group with 36.50 meters.
She also took part in a discus competition for the first time. Her 15.66 meters earned her the silver medal in Villmar. With her long jump season best of 3.90 meters, she jumped onto the podium and grabbed the complete set of medals with bronze.
Three personal bests underlined Katharina Elm's good form. She won bronze in the W14 age group in the long jump with 3.96 meters. Third place was her result in the shot put, for which she needed 6.68 meters. Elm finally took first place and gold in the ball throw. No competitor could match her 34.50 meters. The Herbornseelbach athlete also took third place in the discus throw, where she threw the disc to 17.04 meters.

Two podium places for Hannah Kristin Gerlach
At this year's Lahn-Dill Individual Championships in Langgöns, Hannah Kristin Gerlach W12 competed in various individual disciplines.
Hannah Lahn-Dill became champion in the 800m in 2:53.87 minutes and defended her title from last year. She was also able to improve her personal best by one second.
Hannah started as the favorite in the ball throw (200g). Unfortunately, she was unable to repeat her personal best of 37m.
She managed 33m, which was enough for third place.
In the long jump, Hannah reached the final of the best eight athletes and took 5th place with 3.55m.

Two athletes among the top eight
Four of our athletes competed successfully in the Hessian block championships in Flieden (Fulda district). A total of 450 athletes from all over Hesse competed. For the first time, three athletes in the W12 age group also took part, two of whom achieved second and eighth place.
Milla Henrich started in the W14 age group in the block sprint/jump. She increased her score to 2177 points with 1.40m in the high jump and 4.25m in the long jump and reached 17th place in the large field of 32 starters.
Amelie Hönig and Nela Sophie Geißler both started in the W12 block throw. 20 participants took part. They competed in 60m hurdles, 75m sprint, long jump, discus throw and shot put.
Amelie Hönig achieved 4th place with a score of 1943 points thanks to her strong 60m hurdles in 11.16sec., long jump of 4.02m and shot put of 6.33m.
Nela Sophie Geißler increased her discus throw to 18.80m and the 75m sprint in 11.83sec., which was enough for 8th place with a score of 1791.
Hannah Kristin Gerlach W12 started in the largest field of participants in the block run with 37 athletes. In addition to 60m hurdles, she also completed 75m sprints, long jump, ball throw and 800m. Unfortunately, she fell in the hurdles, but then fought back with a strong ball throw of 37m and took 19th place with 1822 points.
All athletes achieved new personal best distances / times and are happy with their results.

4 district championship titles and personal best distances/heights for our athletes
The district individual championships in ball throwing, long jump and high jump took place in Fleisbach.
Constanze Zintl (W9) started in the W10 age group in the ball throw and long jump. She became district champion with 23.50m in the softball throw (80g) and 3.54m in the long jump.
Amelie and Pauline Hönig competed against each other in the W12 high jump. Pauline became district champion with 1.33m. Amelie jumped 1.30m and came second.
Hannah Kristin Gerlach became district champion in the ball throw (200g) of the W12 35.50m.

4x first place for Constanze Zintl
Our youngest athlete, Constanze Zintl, started in the W9 age group in Lüdenscheid at the open district individual championships and came first 4 times.
She sprinted 50m and crossed the finish line first in 8.65 seconds.
She came first in the softball throw with 22m.
In the long jump, Constanze jumped 3.58m.
She ran the 800m race with a clear lead to victory in 3:12.72min.

Even though the weather wasn't great, the 42nd fun run around the Donnerberg took place over 2.5km, 5km and 10km.
Hannah Kristin Gerlach from TV 1897 Herbornseelbach started on the 2.5km, partly muddy course. She crossed the finish line as the fastest girl in 10:22 min. and came first. In the overall field of girls and boys she took 4th place

Leonie Marie Hönig wins 2x bronze
At the regional individual championships in Wetzlar with a large, strong field of participants, Leonie Marie Hönig won bronze in the W14 age group in the shot put with 6.60 m and in the discus throw with 19.56 m.
With 49.97 meters and second place, Melina Sophie Philipp's (TSV Leverkusen) start at the javelin throwing sports festival in Offenburg was a huge success.
The U18 athlete, who came from the athletics department of TV Herbornseelbach, thus fulfilled the European Championship standard and, with this distance, is in second place in the current annual best list of the German Athletics Association (DLV).
This list is topped with 52.53 meters, the Offenburg winning distance of Konstanze Irlinger from Jetzendorf in Bavaria.

7x gold, 2x silver and 1x bronze for our athletes
This year's district running championships included sprints, hurdles and 800m runs. A total of six of our athletes took part, four of whom won medals.
Constanze Zintl started in an age group higher in the W10. In the 50m sprint she took second place in 8.71 seconds. In the 800m she confidently took first place in the large field of participants in 3:10.19 minutes.
Hannah Kristin Gerlach started in the W12 over 60m hurdles and came first with a time of 12.47 seconds. She ran the 75m sprint in 12.63 seconds to take first place. Most recently, Hannah Kristin started in the 800m for 12 and 13 year old boys. She confidently crossed the finish line first in 2:56.90 minutes.
Milla Henrich started in the W14 over 80m hurdles, 100m sprint and 800m. In these three disciplines, Milla managed to get on the podium and take first place each time. She ran the 100m sprint in 14.47 seconds. She ran the 80m hurdles in 15.14 seconds. In the last 800m race, she crossed the finish line first in 2:58.94 minutes.
Carlotta Zintl, also W14, came second in the 100m sprint in 14.53sec. and third in the 800m run in 3:22.87min.

3 podium places for our athletes
For the very first time, the W12 age group took part in a block competition, winning 1x gold and 2x bronze.
Amelie Hönig and Nela Sophie Geißler started in the throwing block. Here they had to complete 60m hurdles, 75m sprint, long jump, discus and shot put.
Amelie secured first place with 1783 points. She showed a strong hurdles run in 11.95 seconds and in the shot put she achieved 5.64 m.
Nela Sophie followed in third place with 1674 points and a successful discus throw of 17.75m.
Hannah Kristin Gerlach completed the highly competitive block run with long jump, 60m hurdles, 75m sprint, 200g ball throw and 800m run. Hannah Kristin confidently crossed the finish line first in the 800m with a new personal best time of 2:54.44 minutes and secured third place with 1814 points.

Gold, silver and bronze for Seelbach athletes
At the 30th city run in Dillenburg, the schoolgirls ran a distance of 1000 meters. Three athletes made it onto the podium.
Constanze Zintl came first in her age group W9 in 3:51 min.
Hannah Kristin Gerlach started in the W12 and came second in 3:41 min.
For Carlotta Zintl, 4:01 minutes was enough for third place in the W14 age group.
Other starters for TV 1897 Herbornseelbach were Marlene Lang, Ina Pitzer and Katharina Elm.

The stadium season has begun. 
In winter temperatures, Hannah Kristin Gerlach ran a personal best time of 8:28.46 minutes to sixth place at the Hessian Championships on the track in Hünfeld. She came third in the regional rankings.

The stadium season has begun. 
Hannah Kristin Gerlach competed in the 60m hurdles and 800m at Marburg’s Georg Gassmann Stadium.
She ran the 60m hurdles on the track outdoors for the first time and came fifth in her age group W12.
Hannah completed the 800m distance in 3:02 minutes and came third.

Hannah Kristin Gerlach from TV 1897 Herborn Seelbach ran 5km for the first time at the Hessian Road Running Championships in Eschwege. In the strong field of starters, however, she was involved in a fall and from km 1 onwards it started to rain heavily and storm. Hannah Kristin reached the finish in 24:52 minutes and came twelfth in her age group.

Hannah Kristin Gerlach takes third place
A muddy course of 1740m, partly with tree trunks as obstacles, had to be completed over field, forest and meadow paths in the W12 age group.
Of a total of 10 athletes in this age group, Hannah Kristin came third in 8:26.7 minutes.

Competitions in the Mittenaar-Ballersbach/Bicken stadium
The district shot put championships took place in the Ballersbach/Bicken stadium. Eight of our athletes took part and brought home seven medals.
In the age group W12, Nela Sophie Geißler won with 5.74m, second place went to Hannah Kristin Gerlach with 5.01m and third place went to Pauline Hönig with 4.52m.
Katharina Elm and Leonie Marie Hönig became district champions in the W14 age group with 6.47m.
Marlene Stahl managed to take third place with 6.42m in the W15 age group.
Juliana Henrich competed in the U18 women’s category and took 5th place with 7.15m.
Jonah Stahl came second in the M13 with 5.23m.

Hannah Kristin Gerlach competed in the girls’ class W12 over 2.5km.
In the large field of starters, Hannah Kristin ran to third place in 10:57 minutes. Before the award ceremony, Max Dehning (German U23 javelin champion from TSV Bayer 04 Leverkusen) and Melina Sophie Philipp (former athlete from TV Herbornseelbach) congratulated her.
Congratulations to Hannah Kristin! It was a great and well-organized running competition.

Great start to the first indoor competition of the year
15x Gold, 8x Silber, 8x Bronze
At the district indoor championships in the individual disciplines such as 60m sprint, 60m hurdles, high jump and standing long jump, 6 lap run and 4x 1 lap relay, our athletes started the season with district championship titles and podium places.
Our relay team in the W12 age group with Hannah Kristin Gerlach, Nela Geißler, Pauline and Amelie Hönig became district champions in 1:18.17.
The relay team in the W14 age group with Milla Henrich, Katharina Elm, Leonie Marie Hönig and Carlotta Zintl finished third in 1:25.15.

A sensational start to the breeding season for Melina Sophie Philipp.
The former athlete of TV Herbornseelbach, who competes for TSV Bayer 04 Leverkusen, added 2.77m to her personal best set in January.
With a great distance of 45.38m, she made it onto the podium at the German Winter Throwing Championships in Halle, taking third place and continuing to be one of the top German athletes in her first year in the U18 category.

Start of the new running season
At the 33rd winter running series of the 2nd run in Langendernbach, Hannah Kristin Gerlach from TV 1897 Herbornseelbach was the only student from the Dill district to start in the 1000m road race.
A total of 8 students started in the W12. Hannah Kristin Gerlach ran in 4:05 minutes and came in 3rd place. She was only 1 second away from 2nd place. A good start for the coming season.

3 athletes run the mini marathon over 4.2km
Over 1,400 athletes took part in the 4.2 km mini marathon. These included our three athletes Constanze Zintl (U10), Hannah Kristin Gerlach (U12) and Katharina Elm (U14). The start was at the festival hall and the finish line was on the red carpet into the festival hall.
Hannah Kristin Gerlach started in the faster starting block. Here she ran in 20:09 minutes to 13th place out of 224 girls in her age group. Overall she came 67th out of over 600 girls.
Constanze Zintl walked the red carpet in 22:48 minutes and finished 28th in her age group of 112 girls and 200 overall.
Katharina Elm finished 66th in her U14 age group with a time of 23:55, and 266th overall for all girls.
It was a great experience and we will definitely do it again next year.

3 First titles - 1x 2nd place and 5th place for our athletes
In Hirzenhain at the sports field, depending on the age group, a corresponding route was completed over meadow paths, partly with inclines.
Romy Koch W7 ran a small lap of about 500m and came first.
Constanze Zintl and Sharona Benner, both W8, ran the 1000m lap. Constanze came in first by a wide margin and Sharona came in fifth.
Marlene Lang started in the W10 age group over about 1600m, she came second and is gaining experience over such a distance for the first time.
Hannah Kristin Gerlach W11 also took part in the 1600m course and confidently finished in first place in 7:29min.

At the Auwaldlauf in Hommertshausen/Dautphetal, the students had to complete a 1000m route over field paths and through the village. A total of 21 athletes started in the age groups U8-U14.
Hannah Kristin Gerlach was the fastest girl of all participants and took first place in her age group U12 in 4:08min.
She was followed by Constanze Zintl as 4th overall and 1st in her age group U10 in 4:25min.
Romy Koch came 14th overall and also 1st in her age group U8 in 5:10min.

It was another great and successful district cup round. A total of 7 girls' teams took part in the U14 competition. The following disciplines had to be completed on 2 dates:
High jump, 1000m cross country, 75m sprint, ball throw, shot put, long jump, 800m run and 4x75m relay.
Hannah Kristin Gerlach, Katharina Elm, Leonie Marie Hönig, Carlotta Zintl and Milla Henrich started in our first team.
With a total of 134 points, they were a clear winner. This meant that the trophy went to Herbornseelbach for the second time.
Our 2nd team took 3rd place with 59 points.
Pauline Hönig, Amelie Hönig, Nela Geissler, Ina Pitzer and Marlene Lang started here.

Despite the bad weather with heavy rain and wind, the 6 athletes were in good shape at the 30th all-around competition day in Siegen's Hofbach Stadium.
In the W11, there was once again a strong field. Here, Hannah Kristin Gerlach took third place in the four-event competition with 1353 points. In the high jump, she cleared the height of 1.20 m for the first time.
She was followed in this age group by Pauline Hönig with 1325 points in 4th place and Amelie Hönig in 5th place with 1282 points.
Milla Henrich and Katharina Elm also competed in the W13 four-way competition. Milla Henrich took first place with 1573 points, Katharina Elm came second with 1361 points.

Leonie Marie Hönig started in the W13 as the only participant in the block competition throw.
She finished this competition with a strong 1958 points. If the weather had played along, the result would have been even better.

Leonie Marie Hönig W13 started in the 100m sprint and 80m hurdles, registered in the W14 age group one age group higher.
Leonie ran the 80m hurdles for the first time and took first place in 15.85 seconds.
Then came the 100m sprint, where she sprinted to 7th place in 15.02 seconds.

Hannah Kristin Gerlach 3x in 1st place
After years, the Dreimärker Mountain Gymnastics Festival finally took place again. The Oberlahn-Eder gymnastics association invited people to the event.
Hannah Kristin Gerlach was the only athlete from our department to start. In addition to the triathlon, there was also a cross-country run of around 800m and Hannah was registered for the relay by TV Weifenbach and Wallau.
In the triathlon, Hannah took first place with 25.49 points in the W10/W11 age group. She again achieved a personal best in the ball throw with 36m.
With the mixed 4x75m relay, Hannah again came first.
Then came the 800m cross-country run. With a time of 3:20 minutes, Hannah once again managed to make it onto the podium with first place.

Satisfied athletes and district champion title for Hannah Kristin Gerlach
This year, the Greifenstein Mountain Gymnastics Festival took place in Fleisbach, and there was also the district championship ranking in the U12 track and field athletes. All 7 athletes were on the podium and new personal bests were achieved.

Three athletes started in the W7/W8 age groups. Constanze Zintl won the W8 with 177 points, well ahead of our two third-place finishers, Romy Koch W7 and Sharona Benner W8, who achieved 143 points. Constanze also won the cross-country race in 6:20 minutes. She was followed by Romy in 7:14 minutes, Marlene in 8:16 minutes and Sharona in 8:32 minutes.
Marlene Lang W10 took a good 6th place with 150 points in the large field of participants.
Hannah Kristin Gerlach and Nela Geißler started in the W11. With 180 points, both managed to jump to first place. In the long jump, Hannah achieved new personal bests of 3.84m and Nela 3.80m. Hannah won the approximately 1000m cross country run in 6:20 mins, Nela came second in 6:26 mins.
The district championship title in the W11 went to Hannah Kristin Gerlach with 1092 points. Nela Geißler came second with 1079 points. Katharina Elm took first place in the mountain gymnastics festival ranking with 199 points. She won the cross-country run in 6:49 minutes. In the shuttle relay in the W10, Hannah Kristin Gerlach, Marlene Lang, Romy Koch and Constanze Zintl ran to first place in 31 seconds.

Lahn-Dill title for Hannah Kristin Gerlach and Leonie Hönig
In the W11 age group, Hannah Kristin Gerlach became Lahn Dill champion over 800m in 2:59.66 minutes. This time is also a personal best. With 31.50m she threw a personal best and came second. This distance is enough for third place in the regional best list. In the long jump, Hannah took seventh place with 3.63m.
Leonie Hönig W13 ran the 60 meter hurdles in 11.13 seconds, which was enough to win the Lahn Dill title. She took second place in the long jump with 4.18m, which was also a personal best. She took fifth place in the 75m sprint in 11.00 seconds. She ran the 800m in 3:18.79 minutes and took second place.
Amelie Hönig W11 came third in the 50m sprint in 8.11 seconds. 3.92m was enough for second place in the long jump.
Pauline Hönig W11 came third in the long jump with 3.83m. In the sprint she came 8th in 8.61sec.
Ina Pitzer W13 ran a personal best of 3:45.76 minutes over 800m and came third. In the long jump she reached 11th place with 2.69m and sprinted over 75m in 14.34 seconds to 10th place.
Juliana Henrich competed in the long jump and 100m sprint at the Marburg Summer Sports Festival. Here she took 5th place with 4.16m and 6th place with 15.18sec.

August 2023
The ASC Breidenbach invited people to the 25th fun run at the Perfstausee. The school class ran a 1000m course on the dam. 4 of our athletes took part.
In the overall ranking of all participants, Hannah Kristin Gerlach (W11) ran to 2nd place in 3:30min. She was followed by Katharina Elm (W13) in 4th place in 3:47min, Constanze Zintl (W8) was 5th in 3:50min and Marlene Lang (W10) ran to 6th place in 4:13min.

July 2023
At the Hessian Block Championships, two athletes from our club took part for the first time and gained experience.
Katharina Elm and Leonie Marie Hönig competed in the W13 age group in the throwing block competition, consisting of 75m sprint, 60m hurdles, long jump, shot put and discus. The competition was tough, but both of them were happy with their placings.
Leonie Marie Hönig finished 10th with 1887 points.
Katharina Elm achieved 1856 points and finished 12th.

7 athletes started from our club.
A total of 251 girls and boys took part in the Bambini Sports Festival of the LC Mengerskirchen.
The younger ones had to complete 4 disciplines such as 30m obstacle sprint, 30m sprint, howler throw and long jump.
For Romy Koch age group W7, it was the first competition and she came second with 534 points.
Constanze Zintl and Sharona Benner started in the W8 age group. Constanze Zintl won clearly with 706 points. Sharona Benner came in a good 10th in this strongly represented age group.
The strongly represented W11 age group completed a three-way competition with a 50m sprint, softball throw and long jump. Hannah Kristin Gerlach took second place on the podium. She was followed by Nela Geissler in fourth place with 1080 points, Pauline Hönig in fifth place with 1065 points and Amelie Hönig in seventh place with 1017 points.

The 800m races and the U12 and U14 javelin throw took place in Dillenburg. Four female athletes and one male athlete competed from our club and shone with championship titles.
There were 2 district champions in the W11 age group. Hannah Kristin Gerlach (W11) started with Nela Geißler (W11) in the javelin throw, one age group higher, in the W12. It was the first time that they competed in this discipline. Hannah Kristin Gerlach became district champion with 15.32m. Nela Geißler came 2nd with 14.90m.
Over 800m, Nela Geißler became district champion in 2:58.13min, Hannah Kristin Gerlach came in second in 3:09.19min.
Jonah Stahl competed in the M12 over 800m and in the javelin throw. He became district champion in both disciplines. He ran 3:03.58min and threw 13.28m javelin.
Milla Henrich (W13) came second twice. She reached 18m in the javelin throw and crossed the finish line in 2:58.64 in the 800m.
For Ina Pitzer (W13) it was the first start over 800m. She came in 4th in 3:48.41min.

2 Hessen champions and 2 vice champions as well as further placings
The Hessian all-around championships took place in Nidda on the 1st weekend of July. 10 athletes took part.
On Saturday, the 12-14 year olds competed in the pentathlon. They had to complete the following disciplines: slingshot, 75m sprint, long jump, shot put and 1000m run.
In the W13, Milla Henrich became runner-up with 40.572 points. She was followed by Leonie Hönig in fourth place with 39.315 points, Katharina Elm in sixth place with 37.672 points and Carlotta Zintl in 13th place with 29.228 points. Marlene Stahl started in the equally strong W14 and came tenth with 29.993 points.
Jonah Stahl started in the M12 and took third place with 29.26 points.
On the second day, the “younger” age groups competed in a three-way competition.
In the strong W11, Nela Geißler became Hesse champion with 24.614 points, just ahead of Hannah Kristin Gerlach who became runner-up with 24.195 points. Pauline Hönig achieved 5th place with 22.08 points.
Constanze Zintl had a great competition in the W8 age group and became Hesse champion with 20,674 points.

A total of 9 of our athletes competed very successfully in the district individual championships in all disciplines of their age groups.
In the W11, Pauline Hönig became district champion twice; she was unbeatable with 1.24m in the high jump and 4.20m in the long jump. In the 50m sprint she took second place in 8.1 seconds.
Hannah Kristin Gerlach W11 achieved a personal best of 30m in the softball throw and confidently became district champion. She came third in the high jump with 1.05m. She achieved a personal best in the long jump with 3.78m and thus came fourth.
It was the very first competition for Amelie Hönig W11. She sprinted 50m in 8.0 seconds to take first place. In the long jump she came second with 4.01m behind her sister.
It was also the very first competition for Nela Geißler W11. She took second place in the 50m sprint with 8.1 seconds and second place in the ball throw with 27m. In the long jump she took fifth place with 3.77m.
In the 4x50m relay W11, Hannah Kristin Gerlach, Amelie Hönig, Nela Geissler and Pauline Hönig took first place in 31.9 seconds.
The W13 age group was also very successful and won a lot.
Milla Henrich became district champion three times, over 60m hurdles in 11.1 seconds, 1.38m in the high jump and 6.63m in the shot put. In the ball throw, 30.50m was enough for second place. She also came second in the long jump with 4.30m. Over 75m sprint in 11.0 seconds, she came third.
In the 75m sprint, Leonie Marie Hönig W13 became district champion in 10.7 seconds. Over 60m hurdles she came second in 11.3 seconds.
Carlotta Zintl W13 became district champion in the long jump with 4.38m. In the high jump, 1.30m was enough for second place. She ran the 75m sprint in 10.9 seconds and came second.
Katharina Elm W13 came 2nd in the shot put with 6.41. In the ball throw she reached 27.50m and 4th place. Over 60m hurdles she ran in 12.5sec to 5th place.
For Ina Pitzer W13 it was the very first competition. She achieved 8th place with a personal best of 4.11. In the long jump she came 10th with 2.99m.
Milla Henrich, Carlotta Zintl, Katharina Elm and Leonie Marie Hönig confidently crossed the finish line in 43.6 seconds in the 4x75m relay.

At the 41st fun run “Around the Donnerberg”, Hannah Kristin started over a 2.5km forest course in the W11 age group.
Among all starters, she was the first to cross the finish line in a time of 10:32 minutes.
Katharina Elm and Leonie Hönig started out of competition in Siegen on June 4th in order to improve their points for the Hessian Block Championships.
Both of them also succeeded in doing this in the block throwing competition.
Leonie achieved 1921 points and Katharina 1747 points.

At the LSG Goldener Grund eV school all-around competition, 3 of our athletes took part in the triathlon, in a large field of starters. There were 2 podium places and personal bests.
Hannah Kristin Gerlach started in the strongly represented age group W11 and came second with 1064 points. She achieved new personal bests with 27m in the ball throw and 3.66m in the long jump.
Pauline Hönig, also in the W11 age group, reached 4th place with 1025 points and set new personal bests in the ball throw with 18 m and in the long jump with 3.74 m.
Leonie Marie Hönig started in the W13 age group. In the strong sprint over 75m with 11.0 seconds, 3.82m in the long jump and 22m in the ball throw, she achieved 3rd place with 1160 points.
April 2023
The first block championships for our athletes took place in Giessen. 5 of our athletes took part in various block competitions.
Leonie Hönig and Katharina Elm, both W13, started in the block throwing with hurdles, shot put, discus, sprint and long jump.
Leonie Hönig won this competition with a total of 1756 points, Katharina Elm came third with 1652 points.
Carlotta Zintl and Milla Henrich, both W13, started in the sprint/jump block, where they had to complete high/long jump, hurdles, sprint and javelin throw. Milla Henrich came 5th with 1962 points, Carlotta Zintl 7th with 1828 points.
Juliana Henrich started in the W15 in the block throw and came 4th with 1800 points.

Hannah Kristin Gerlach 6th place at the Hessian long distance championships.
Hannah Kristin Gerlach runs personal best
Hannah Kristin Gerlach competed for the first time in the Hessian long-distance championships over 2000m in Mengerskirchen.
She did not have to start in the W11 as usual but one age group higher, W12.
Hannah Kristin ran a personal best time of 8:46.25 minutes and came in 6th place. She would have been 2nd in the W11 that day. It was a great competition where you could also gain experience.

A distance of 1000m around the city park was completed.
5 of our athletes competed in the different age groups and finished in places 1-4.
Constanze Zintl started in the W8 and confidently finished in first place in 3:59 min.
Hannah Kristin Gerlach W11 ran to 1st place in 3:31min, Pauline Hönig also W11 came 3rd in 4:00min.
In the W13 age group, Carlotta Zintl came 3rd in 3:54min and Leonie Hönig came just under 4th in 3:57min.

Hannah Kristin Gerlach District Champion in the 2000m track race
1st place for Hannah Kristin Gerlach
In the higher age group W12, Hannah Kristin Gerlach (W11) ran at the district championships over 2000m on the track, taking first place in 8:52 min.
At the 3rd and final winter run of the LG Dornburg, Hannah Kristin Gerlach, Pauline Hönig and Katharina Elm again started over 1000m.
In the W11, Hannah came 3rd with a time of 4:18min, Pauline came 5th in 4:33min.
Katharina started in the W13 and finished 4th in 4:23min.
In the overall ranking, Hannah Kristin Gerlach shone in the W11 as 3rd and Katharina Elm in the W13 as 2nd. Pauline Hönig was 6th in the W11 overall ranking.

Athletes win titles and further podium finishes
After a long break, the indoor district championships took place again. A total of 164 participants took part.
The Seelbach athletes shone with several district championship titles as well as runner-up and third places in the disciplines of high jump, standing long jump, sprint, shot put, six-lap run and relay race.
For Pauline Hönig W11 it was the very first championships and she became district champion in the high jump with 1.22m. In the 50m sprint she reached second place in 8.1 seconds.
Hannah Kristin Gerlach W11 became vice district champion in the 6 lap race in 2:54min.
Jonah Stahl M12, won 4 medals. In the 6-lap race he became district champion in 2:43 minutes, 2nd place in the high jump with 1.15m, 3rd place in the shot put with a distance of 5.00m and again 3rd place with 9.6 seconds in the 60m sprint.
Leonie Hönig, Milla Henrich and Katharina Elm started in the W13 age group.
Leonie, in her first competition, came 2nd in the standing long jump with 2.00m and 3rd in the 60m sprint with 9.2s.
Milla was twice district champion. 1.30m in the high jump and 2.07m in the standing long jump were enough for the title. She was vice district champion in the shot put (5.89m) and in the 6 lap run (2:52min).
Katharina shone in the shot put (6.20m) and 60m sprint (9.0sec) as district champion.
Marlene Stahl was on the podium in the W14 and Juliana Henrich in the W15.
Marlene became vice district champion in the shot put with 5.93m, and in the standing long jump she reached third place with 1.59m.
Juliana came third in the high jump with a height of 1.31m.
Finally, the relay race in the WU14 age group took place. Leonie Hönig, Katharina Elm, Milla Henrich and Hannah Kristin Gerlach were the last runners. They narrowly missed out on second place with a time of 1:23 minutes.

Our athletes competed in the 2nd LG Dornburg winter run over 1000m. It was a well attended competition with a large field of starters.
Hannah Kristin Gerlach, age group W11, ran in a time of 4:22min and finished 6th.
Pauline Hönig, also W11, ran to 8th place in 4:40min.
Katharina Elm, age group W13, came 3rd in 4:23min.
In the overall ranking, Hannah Kristin is in 3rd place, Pauline in 6th place and Katharina in 2nd place before the last race on March 11, 2023.

The first indoor competition this year took place in the Siegen district sports hall. In addition to the triathlons, individual disciplines and relays also took place.
Carlotta Würz (2011) Shot put 7.62m 1st place and personal best. 40m hurdles 8.03sec 2nd place. Triathlon also 2nd place.
Milla Henrich (2010) 40m hurdles 7.96sec. 3rd place. High jump 1.32m 4th place. Triathlon 7th.
Lillien Rauchhaus (2010) shot put 6.02m 3rd place, 40m hurdles 8.81sec 9th place, triathlon 19th.
Katharina Elm (2010) shot put 6.41m 1st place and personal best. 40m hurdles 9.06sec 10th place. Triathlon 9th place.
Jonah Stahl (2011) Triathlon 6th place.
Hannah Kristin Gerlach (2012) 8th place in the triathlon and 3.60m personal best in the long jump.
Pauline Hönig (2012) Triathlon 23rd place. It was her first competition ever.
Finally, the four athletes Milla, Katharina, Carlotta and Lillien shone in the relay.
They confidently ran to first place.
Four athletes started in the 1000m race in the first race of the winter running series. There were good placings in the large field of participants and everyone was satisfied with their performance.

December 2022
Katharina Elm and Hannah Kristin Gerlach achieved great placings and personal bests at the national indoor competition in Stadtallendorf.
Katharina reached the shot put final and was awarded with 6.22m
6. This was her personal best.
In the long jump, Katharina took 13th place in a very large field of participants with a distance of 3.80m.
Hannah Kristin competed in the high jump. She jumped 1.10m, a personal best, and came third.
In the 800m race, Hannah Kristin ran a personal best time of 3:10min and finished 7th.
At the award ceremony, the children were delighted to receive certificates, Kinder bars and surprise eggs.
November 2022
At the 40th cross country run in Eitelborn, Hannah Kristin Gerlach ran a distance of 1300m. It went through the stadium, over streets and then across meadows back to the stadium. In her age group, Hannah narrowly came in second. Congratulations!

An 800 m meadow course with slight inclines was marked out at Hammerweiher. Hannah Kristin Gerlach started in the U12 over 1600m and won comfortably in 7:21 minutes ahead of the athletes from LAV Dietzhölztal. She is now the 2022 district cross-country champion. On November 19th there will be another cross-country run there, where Hannah will start again.
October 2022
At the 30th TVL/LAG Student Multi-Event Day in Siegen's Hofbach Stadium, there were top placings and personal bests. Athletes from TV Herborn-Seelbach 1897, TV Herborn and TV Dillenburg took part in the large starting field.
Hannah Kristin Gerlach and Katharina Elm for TV Herbornseelbach showed great performances in the four-event competition, with Hannah Kristin achieving a personal best of 25.50 m in the ball throw.
Hannah Kristin came 2nd in her age group W10 with 1180 points, behind first-placed Johanna Sältzer from TV Herborn, who won with 1266 points. In the same age group, Hanna Weil, also from TV Herborn, came 4th with 1116 points.
Katharina Elm narrowly finished second in her age group W12 with 1421 points. She was in top form again in the sprint and also achieved 27.50m in the ball throw.
Further placements for the girls from TV Herborn:
Jana Buss took 5th place in the four-event competition with 1113 points and Lena Buss took 6th place in the three-event competition with 795 points.
The athletes from TV Herborn also achieved top placings and personal bests. In the M10 age group, Mika Schott won with 1262 points, ahead of his teammate Emil Albert, who came third with 1126 points. Mika achieved a personal best of 28.50m in the ball throw.
David Triesch jumped a personal best of 1.78m in the high jump and came first in the four-event competition with 2040 points, ahead of his teammate Joseph Buss.
All athletes were happy with their performance and will be competing in Siegen again next year.

Hannah Kristin Gerlach and Katharina Elm competed in a larger field of participants in several disciplines and became district champions in one discipline each.
Hannah Kristin reached 24m in the softball throw, which was enough for the title.
Katharina sprints over 75m in 11.4 seconds, confidently taking first place ahead of TV Herborn and TV Dillenburg.

800m run: Hannah Kristin Gerlach ran a personal best of 3:12.2 seconds and narrowly finished in second place, a great second place in her age group.
For organizational reasons, the Greifenstein Mountain Gymnastics Festival was moved to Hermannstein. Despite the constant rain, our athletes were in top form. They competed in triathlons and a 1000m cross-country run.
Hannah Kristin Gerlach won the triathlon in her age group with 184 points.
Carlotta Würz won in her age group with 200 points, ahead of her teammate Kathrina Elm (184 points), who came second. Lillien Rauchhaus came fourth with 163 points.
Viktoria Würz, our youngest athlete, came second in the triathlon in her age group.
In the 1000m cross country run, Hannah Kristin Gerlach was the fastest girl in the U10-U16 category with a time of 4:10 minutes. Viktoria Würz came third in her age group and Katharina Elm took a fantastic second place in her age group.

The athletes of TV Herbornseelbach win convincingly.
Finally another district school cup round. The organizers were TV Dillenburg and TV Niederscheld.
The competition started with 5 athletes as a team. A total of 5 girls' teams took part. Several disciplines were carried out over 2 days and evaluated together. Our 5 athletes won comfortably ahead of TV Niederscheld, LAV Dietzhölztal, TV Dillenburg and TV Herborn. There were 2 exciting days of competition and the girls were very happy about their victory with the trophy and medals.

A total of 141 participants took part in the 30th LCM Bambini Sports Festival. 2 of them were Constanze Zintl and Hannah Kristin Gerlach.
Constanze Zintl started in her age group W7. There she had to compete in 30m sprint, banana box run, howler throw and long jump. With 541 points, Constanze came in a very good 3rd place.
Hannah Kristin Gerlach started in the strong age group W10. There she achieved the furthest of all girls in the ball throw and a personal best of 24.90m. In the long jump she jumped a personal best for this year of 3.34m and Hannah ran the 50m sprint in 8.9 seconds. With 985 points she came in a good 4th place.

3 championship titles for our athletes
After a 2-year Corona break, the Hessian junior all-around championships took place again in Frankfurt-Unterliederbach and there were 3 championship titles in the triathlon.
Hannah Kristin Gerlach started in her age group W10. With 9.1 seconds in the 50m sprint, 3.25m in the long jump and 21.50m in the ball throw, she achieved a score of 19.861, which was enough for first place.
Jonah Stahl came first in his age group W11 with a score of 18.898. With a time of 8.0 seconds in the 50m sprint, 3.55m in the long jump and 20m in the ball throw, he took first place.
Carlotta Würz (W11) also clearly won with a score of 27.980. With great results in the 50m sprint in 7.9 seconds, 3.83m in the long jump and 35.5m in the ball throw, she won convincingly.

Due to bad weather, the district championships were partially canceled on May 20th and the high jump for the four-event competition was rescheduled for June 21st.
Hannah Kristin Gerlach became district champion in the three-event competition in her age group W10 with 961 points. In the four-event competition, Hannah Kristin took third place with 1,121 points.
Carlotta Würz became district champion in her age group W11 in the three-event competition with 1,272 points. Unfortunately, she did not continue in the four-event competition.
Josephine Ciliox took 4th place in the triathlon in her age group W10 with 771 points.
Jonah Stahl was in second place in the three- and four-event competition, he only needed to complete the sprint and high jump. Unfortunately, he was unable to finish the competition on the alternative date.

Despite the heat, good results for our athletes
Katharina Elm started in the shot put and was awarded with a distance of 5.25m

Our athletes were in good shape in the large field of participants, despite temperatures of around 40 degrees.
Hannah Kristin Gerlach reached the ball throw final of the best 8 and became Vice Lahn-Dill Champion with 20.50m, taking second place. Hannah Kristin also reached the final in the long jump and came 7th with 3.20m. In the sprint she just missed the final with 8.93sec and came 7th. Josephine Ciliox came 5th in the ball throw final with 18.50m. Jonah Stahl came 3rd in the high jump with 1.15m, a very good 1st place.
Marlene Stahl came third in the shot put with 5.64m. Sophie Gussmann was satisfied with her performance, even though she unfortunately did not reach the final.

Four of our athletes successfully competed in the three- and four-event competition in Niederselters.
A total of 26 athletes started in Hannah Kristin Gerlach's strongest age group W10. With a score of 910, Hannah Kristin took a great 4th place.
Carlotta Würz started one age group higher in the W12, where she took first place in the three-event competition (1228 points) and the four-event competition (1577 points).

The competition then continued with the age groups W10 and W12 over 1000m. The following athletes took the places:

At the first running competition of the year, the runners at the Lahn-Dill Cross Championships in Gießen-Linden were in good running form.
A distance of 1740m had to be run in a large starting field.

In a large field of starters, Hannah Kristin Gerlach and Milla Henrich competed for TV Herbornseelbach.
Hannah Kristin Gerlach competed in her age group W9 over 500 meters. She finished 4th in a time of 2:15 minutes.
Milla Henrich also took 4th place in her age group W11 over 1000 meters in 4:22 min.

At the Lahn-Dill Cross Championships, Hannah Kristin Gerlach ran to a very good 4th place in her age group W9. She reached the finish line in 4:46 minutes on a 1045m forest course. The course was 1045m long and led over meadow and forest paths.

At the 29th school multi-event day on October 3rd, Hannah Kristin Gerlach was the only athlete from TV Herbornseelbach to compete. She started in an older age group in the W10 category.
Hannah jumped a personal best of 3.34m. In the shot put she managed 18m and in the 50m run she ran 9.66sec. Overall she achieved a total score of 836
and ended up in third place despite the higher age group classification. Great performance and the weather played its part too.
Evening sports festival "Friday-Field" in Frankenberg on 10.09.21
On Friday, September 10th, 2021, TSV Hessen Frankenberg invited people to the evening sports festival "Friday Field". 73 children from 9 clubs enjoyed a great competition and braved the rain that started to fall. The disciplines of long jump and high jump were offered for the U12s, and the U14s were expanded to include discus throwing.
Our athletes Lillien Rauchhaus (U12), Carlotta Würz (U12) and Linette Rauchhaus (U14) from TV Herbornseelbach were there. All of them took part in the competition successfully and with fun.
The winner of the long jump in the U12 category was Carlotta Würz with a new personal best of 3.75 meters. She also managed to climb to the top step of the lovingly constructed winners' podium of TSV Hessen Frankenberg in the high jump with a performance of 1.22 meters.
In the W11, Lillien Rauchhaus took second place in the high jump with 1.10 meters. In the long jump, Filiz Nolte from TSV Hessen Frankenberg was unbeatable that day with 4.23 meters. Lillien achieved fourth place with a distance of 3.27.
Her sister Linette Rauchhaus took third place in the W12 with 1.10 meters in the high jump. In the long jump she achieved fifth place with 3.67 meters. A great result, as it was her first competition where she had to hit the "board" and was not allowed to jump out of the zone.

On Saturday, September 4th, 2021, Hannah Kristin Gerlach started in the open district championships in Ewersbach in the 800m run. She started in an age group higher in the W10.
Of the 7 participants in this age group, Hannah came in 3rd with a personal best time of 3:19 minutes. She was very happy about it. Unfortunately, no other athletes from TV Herbornseelbach were at the start.
Instead of the usual annual general meeting, the awards ceremony took place after training in the Herborn-Seelbach gymnasium. Last year, it was possible to train very well in small groups in the Herborn stadium, in compliance with hygiene regulations. Since unfortunately few or no competitions had taken place, the athletes were happy to receive their sports badge awards.
The German Sports Badge in Gold was awarded to:
Hannah Kristin Gerlach, Jonah Stahl, Carlotta Würz, Milla Henrich, Lillien Rauchhaus, Carlotta Zintl, Philie Nießmann, Antonia Würz, Marlene Stahl, Linette Rauchhaus, Juliana Henrich, Melina Philipp and Noel Walter. Viktoria Würz won silver and Leandro Würtz won the bronze sports badge.
Three adults also achieved the standard for the sports badge. Sarina Würz received gold, Franziska Gerlach and Theo Benner received bronze.
