District championships in two-player pre-ball

At the invitation of TV Herbornseelbach, the two-person handball players of the Lahn-Dill gymnastics association met for their annual championships.

In the sports hall of the Johann-Heinrich-Alsted School and under the direction of district handball coach Frank Mederich (TV Aßlar), the two women's and eight men's teams from Aßlar, Sinn and Herbornseelbach played for their championships in the various age groups.

The Sinners were able to win four championship titles, while hosts Herbornseelbach and TV Aßlar won one championship title.

Gau Vice President Roland Samsel, together with Frank Mederich, was able to award the following teams as winners:

Prellball Gau Championship in Aßlar on March 12, 2022

After the cancellation in 2020/21, the district championship was held again this year. 10 teams competed against each other in different age groups.

TV Herbornseelbach participated with two teams.

Vakkas Vakkasoglu and Metin Bilgihan competed in the M30 age group. Otto Jackl and Manfred Wetz competed in the M70 age group.

Both teams became district champions in 2022.

After the award ceremony, the day ended with coffee and cake in a cozy atmosphere.

The dynamic gymnastics game for competitions and leisure! This somewhat "exotic" ball sport is fun, easy to learn and can be played by all age groups and by men and women alike. Prellball promotes the body's coordination skills, strength and endurance. Prellball offers fun exercise and is a good way to relieve the stress of everyday work. In addition to our weekly training, we organize a club championship once a year. In addition, the so-called Gauprellball championship takes place once a year, in which all Prellball departments of the clubs in the Lahn-Dill district can take part. Here you get the opportunity to get to know other Prellball-playing clubs and their players. There is also the opportunity to take part in various Prellball competitions. For example, Hesse championships or league competitions (district/association/state league). Our bumper ball group is a diverse group of men and women aged 14-80, and the social aspect is not neglected either. Joint trips, alternative programs during the summer holidays and our annual end-of-year party are simply part of our community. Well, has that piqued your interest? Then just give it a try.
